Step 5 of 5
Testing Triggers Before You Trust Them
Confirm a skill fires on the right prompts and skips the wrong ones.
Never assume a description works — exercise it. Build a tiny trigger table: prompts that should load the skill, and near-miss prompts that should not.
- Write 3–5 positive prompts (real phrasings, not the skill name).
- Write 2–3 negative prompts that look similar but belong elsewhere.
- Run each in a fresh session and note whether the skill loaded.
- Tighten or widen the description until the table is all-correct.
