Learn by doing, not by scrolling docs.
Learn Claude Skills is a hands-on resource for people learning to build and use Claude Code skills and Agent Skills. Instead of a wall of reference material, it gives you guided paths: short lessons in order, each ending with something you actually made.
How this differs from the directory
Its sibling, ClaudeSkillsGuide, is a directory: it answers “which skill exists for X?” You browse, find, and reference. Learn Claude Skills answers a different question: “how do I build and use skills, step by step?” You learn, build, and practice. The two cross-link: the directory points here for depth, and the lessons point there for the catalog.
The approach
Every path is a sequence, so the next step is always clear. Every lesson is concrete: real SKILL.md files, real triggering, real packaging. You keep what you build, and you can come back as new paths ship.
A community, not just a curriculum
Learning ends with building, and building deserves an audience. The Community page is where you submit skills you have authored. We review every submission, feature the strongest on the blog, and pass catalog-worthy ones to the directory. We publish our own production skills the same way, annotated with the reasoning behind them, and we are recording video walkthroughs of real skill builds, end-to-end. The blog carries the updates that matter to builders: changes to the skills format and the agent ecosystem, explained in terms of what to do about them.
Independence
Learn Claude Skills is an independent educational resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. “Claude,” “Claude Code,” and “Agent Skills” are referenced nominatively to describe what is taught.
